The spine of vol. 1 is heavily damaged; vol. 2 with torn parchment across top hinge and with fold along the middle of the spine (middle of bookblock protruding at front edge). On the inside a fine, white copy with the images in excellent printing, all included according to the binder's index. The first edition of the best 17th century city description of Amsterdam.
