*An additional 168 trains were used for the spectacular show. The highest flying plane, at 155 metres, was awarded 10.000 Francs. Not everyone escaped unharmed. 7 airplanes and several pilots were damaged beyond repair. Baroness Raymonde de Laroche left the battlefield with multiple arm and leg fractures.
