[Glass slides] Collection of ca. 230 stereo and regular glass slides,

Dutch, ca. 1900, all ca. 6 x 13 cm. (stereo, ca. 115 pieces) or 8 x 8 cm., in 2 contemporary wooden boxes with address of Fa. Schaap & Co (both one hinge defect).

Stereo photos: ships and smaller vessels, harbours, Artis Zoo, villages and countryside, beach and dunes, family photos (Couturier family etc.), North Sea Canal, bridges etc. Regular slides: family portraits (incl. Westermann family), city views of Amsterdam (ca. 20), coronation celebrations Amsterdam 1898 (series of ca. 30). With: stereoscope foldable in 3 parts of black varnished wood and rotund magnifying lens in engraved top segment, ca. 1900, folded 22.5 x 14.5 x 7 cm. (inside with fire damage, probably left in the sun by accident).
