in Amsterdam during the Golden Age and the engraved title from Spiegel van 't menselyk bedryf by Jan & Caspar Luiken. All engravings tipped-in, two engravings to a leaf, the engraved title to its own leaf. Each engraving ± 15 x 9 cm with caption and 6-line poem. All leaves loose in shabby binding with the armorial bookplates of the Duchesse de Courlande and of Castle Thalstein near Jena, Germany.
