In vols. 2-12 the first 3 leafs of the bookblock are missing, these have never been present in this copy. We could not find out whether this is the case with an entire section of this edition. The spines of the bindings are tanned and slightly damaged on extremities. The modern cloth boxes are numbered 10-21. Leading series, rare in original edition and most certainly rare as complete set. In 1977, therefore, a reprint appeared.
