Cas Oorthuys

Vorstelijk Damast. Two silver gelatin photos by Oorthuys from the series of photos he made at the E.J.F. van Dissel en zonen cloth factories. Size both 25 x 24.7 cm. Each with number on back and separate cardboard support with stamp Cas Oorthuys on back.

The photos were made as a result of the wedding gift of table linen by Queen Wilhelmina to Princess Elisabeth and Prince Philip in 1947. Added: the raffia-bound anniversary book that was made. Includes several photos from the series.
