Cast iron mechanical bank

"Tammany" Bank, J. & E. Stevens Co., 19th century. Stamp "Pat. dec. 23 1873". Mechanism not functioning, else in good condition, nearly no damage to varnish.

When a coin is inserted into the right hand, a movement from the head throws the coin automatically underneath the other arm.
