Small folio, 19th-century half deerskin red with black binding, white-leather title label with gilt stamping. Before the title an extra leaf on blue paper is bound along with annotations in hw., var. names and dates and name previous owner. Title with printer's mark in woodcut.

The book reads like a "who's who" of the history of Rome with digressions to and by classic Roman and Greek authors. Behind the index a number of family trees is included. Johannes Glandorp was a German humanist and linguist. First edition. Rare.
