Jos Ruting (1909-1987)

14 original Art Deco watercolours of bird for the 1924 and 1925 calendars. Works from Ruting's youth and probably never used, though conspicuously not devoid of quality! Written at bottom of drawing 1924: "Drukkerij Kotting Amsterdam, ontworpen en op steen getekend door J.B. Ruting, leerling voor 2e klasse der Amst. Grafische school, weteringeschans 187". Size per plate 23 x 13 cm.
