Jos Ruting (1909-1987)

Advertising work by Ruting. Ruting was an illustrator, painter and drawer and in such demand that this enabled him to live his life in a comfortable manner. He illustrated for example hundreds of picture postcards, advertising for business, calendars and flower seed packets (these being immensily popular and ensuring a constant source of income). His work varied from unambiguous production work to beautiful Art Deco illustrations. In lot 590-599 we present part of his legacy.
