[Puppet theatre] Louis Simon

Mon petit theatre. Paris, Presses d'Ile-de-France, 1946. Cardboard cover (with on the front two foldable tabs acting as stage curtains), 2 double leaves with instructions, 4 finely coloured double leaves (models for finger puppets), and 2 double leaves with removable admission tickets, and finally the text for a play in 3 acts. In good condition; the tabs of the cover are damaged on both sides.

A special book with model plates with which three puppets can be made, that can be shoved around the puppeteer's fingers. It also contains the background for a theatre, a theatre text and even admission tickets. As usual, children books barely stand a chance of survival once they fall into a child's hands. Clearly this did not happen here: none of the elements have been removed and the condition is quite well.
