[Wolfgang Kilian] (Serenissimorum Austriae Ducum,
Archiducum, Regum, Imperatorum Genealogia, à Rudolpho I. Habsburgensi, Caesare, ad Ferdinandum II. Rom. Imp. semper Augustum, &c. Aeri incisa a Wolfgango Kiliano, Eiconographo Augustano). Augsburg, sumptibus Wolfgangi Kiliani typis Lucae Praetorij Augustani, 1623 [address in colophon], 72 (of 73) leaves, with folding, engraved map, 2 engraved family trees (1x as folding plate, the other as full-page illustration), 48 escutcheons (1x coloured) on 8 engraved full-page illustrations, 47 engraved portraits and large printer's mark on the final page, later, marbled cardboard binding, small folio.
Lacks the engraved title page (else entirely complete), the second leaf is reaffixed and margins of several leaves reinforced with wafer-thin paper (also used to repair the odd small tear); map lightly damaged (restored); here and there small tears, some stains at the end.
Beautifully engraved series of portraits. The printer's mark at the end is highly remarkable; it depicts the engraving and printing studio of Kilian.
