Van Egmond's knipprenten "Plak-album zamengesteld door Saar en Cor Kips."
Album with title leaf followed by 10 "Van Egmond's knipprenten", title and plates with inidividual letters/illustrations pasted in the image, lithographed by Emrik & Binger, ca. 1870, original lithographed boards with title "Plak-Album voor de Nederlandsche jeugd", with cloth back, oblong folio.
Content and boards loose and worn/frayed along edges, here and there with tears. Despite the somewhat poor condition a lovely and colourful item with large, decorative plates. The National Library of the Netherlands has a copy with only 5 plates. The plates in our album with the following Van Egmond index numbers and titles: no. 2. Steenhouwerij; no. 5. Verscheurende dieren; no. 12. Hollandsche kleederdragten; no. 14. Paraderend stoomschip; no. 16. Houtzaagmolen; no. 17. Provisiekamer; no. 18. Locomotief; no. 20; Boudoir; no. 22. Soldaatje spelen; no. 23. Op de heide. Een schaapherder met schapen. Plates 18, 20 and 23 with annotation in pencil "Manco Atlas van Stolk."
