[Distribution] Collection of more than 100 pieces of printed ephemera,

all related to the distribution of goods, food and energy in the Netherlands during the war, incl. used and unused (request) forms, master cards, coupons (cards), files, etc., nearly all organised in plastic files.

A specific field of the complex bureaucracy of the German occupation, in which every action or transaction, no matter how general and small, had to be carefully registered. Incl.: 1. Distribution file for 1942-1943, with 6 compartments for organising master cards, identity cards and coupons for all possible necessities (with advertising for coffee and tea substitutes in very happy and therefore particularly sad design); 2. Seven used distribution master cards, incl. a "Lebensmittel-Stammausweis für Binnenschiffer"; 3. Three small information booklets by the Economische Voorlichtingsdienst with generally useful hints "Wees zuinig met wat u hebt!", "Leg uzelf geen rijverbod op! Zorg voor uw banden" and "Distributie en de huisvrouw"; 4. An information and request form (unused) of distribution service Kring 213 Wormerveer, for obtaining Babypakket A or B (1942, both included in 2 copies); 5. An announcement from the PTT to telephone owners indicating the need for limiting phone calls in order to not disturb German use of the lines; 6. Manual for requesting a permit for linoleum by Linoleum Krommenie (4 p., oblong small 8vo); 7. A Luierbon for 3 diapers issued by De Bijenkorf, 28 June 1944; 8. Unused coupons for e.g. a pair of home slippers, or work shoes, or regular shoes, etc.; 9. Coupon-shaped identity cards printed on thin paper, free (4x), for 50 cents (4x) or for one Gulden (1x) (ca. 5 x 6 cm.); 10.
