Manuscript, mostly in Latin with here and there Dutch annotations verso, a small part with main text in Dutch, written ca. 1800-1830, 4 parts in one volume, Latin text paginated 3-63; 2-280, leaves written on one side; Dutch text (unpaginated): (18); (10) leaves written on both sides, slightly earlier gilt half leather with morocco letterpiece, thick 4to.
Leather of binding and letterpiece damaged, paper across boards lacking/ loose. with owner's name "G.J. Molengraaf", this has to be Gerard Johan Molengraaf (1806-1875), Dutch Reformed minister in Tilburg and Goirle (1838-1846). The work has the feel of theological lecture notes. Page 280 of the second part concludes with the name of the writer, J. Tantz (?).
