Without the text volumes but complete in itself; plate 17 waterstained in blank margin, several plates around it with very vague water stain in that margin. The first English edition appeared in London in the same year as our French printing with the title "An Account of an Embassy to the Kingdom of Ava sent by the Governal-General of India in 1795". The maps show the entire Burmese realm and the course of the river Irrawaddy (93 x 40 cm.) with insert-plan of the city of Amarapura. The remaining plates depict e.g. views of temples and sculptures, the Burmese alphabet, traditional costume, ships and plants.
