Atlas in pen and ink and coloured outlines in watercolour, with cartouches in French and other text and contemporary dating "1815-1816" on the free endpaper, with a total of 17 decorative double-page maps, contemporary blindstamped leather, all edges gilt, folio (42 x 29 cm.).
Several maps slightly browned, else here and there slightly soiled (mostly in blank margins). Bookblock and boards loose, wear to corners and shabbily rebacked. Contains: (1) World map, (2) Europe, (3) England, (4) Scandinavia, (5) Russia, (6) France (with sizeable part of surrounding countries), (7) Netherlands and Belgium, (8) Germany, (9) Switzerland, (10) Spain, (11) Italy, (12) Turky (actually Greece and surrounding countries), (13) Asia, (14) Africa, (15) North America, (16) South America and (17) Palestina.
