Friedrich Kallmorgen (1856-1924). Documentation for magazine illustrations.

Consisting of: (1) Antwerpen. Von Franz von Löher [and] Das Plantin Museum zu Antwerp. Von F. von Hellwald. Quire with 2 articles, p. 417-428 from "Vom Fels zum Meer. Spemann's illustrirte Zeitschrift für das Deutsche Haus", 1885, with 18 illustrations of which 17 after Friedrich Kallmorgen, all reappearing in the documentation below.

(2) Documentation of the 17 illustrations. All but three small illustrations are accompanied by the following: a contemporary albumen photo of the original drawing by Kallmorgen and a print of the cliché on thin Chinese paper after the drawing of the same size, photos and prints of cliché pasted on cardboard and under 7 mounts. With another 23 duplicates of the cliché prints, mostly pasted on cardboard holder, with in pen dates different from the aforementioned 1885, but through Google Books it can be concluded that the quire is in fact from the aforementioned magazine, year 1885. Added: "Gravures 1." Rexine album with ca. 120 pieces of 19th-/ 20th-century book illustrations (incl. 2 pieces of silhouette papercutting), 4to size (contents mostly tender).
