Political print as a result of the Zinkwit strikes in Maastricht. In 1929 a strike breaks out at the Maastrichtse Zinkwit Maatschappij because of 6 laid-off workers. This quickly leads to a conflict between Reds (socialists) and Blues (catholics), with the latter coming to an agreement with the employer at an early stage. Eventually, a clash takes place between strikers and strikebreakers, leading to two fatalities.
