[Magic lantern slides] Collection of more than 250 glass slides,

nearly all 8.5 x 8.5 cm., mostly in original (?)/ contemporary cardboard boxes with ca. 7 slides per box and with title label of the producer at the top, incl. Imperial Lantern Plates, London (5 boxes), Wellington Lantern plates, Elstree (7 boxes), Eastman Lantern (n.pl., 4 boxes).

Large set with highly diverse subjects, e.g. Till Eulenspiegel (24 slides in 2 boxes) of City-Serie Amsterdam, a satirical coloured series of 7 slides on "Mr. Brown & his wife are awakened by a mouse", a series of 12 coloured slides with the story of Puss in Boots, a series of 12 coloured slides with firefighters in action and many reproductions of artworks, mostly kept in wooden case (more than 250).
