Quarles van Ufford family. 1849-1875. Richly decorated brown faux-leather book binding (33 x 28.5 cm); spine and front board with multicolour figurative illustration within a double embroidery in gilt stamping, corners and centre with floral motifs in red, green, blue and purple. Rayon endpapers with leaf motif. Ca. 100 leaves half filled with pasted mixed-media illustrations, incl. watercolour, engravings, drawings, clippings, photos, etc., some with loose inscription and/ or name or signature. Binding with minor imperfections. Album in brown faux-leather box with inscription: Album Amicorum Familie Quarles van Ufford. 1849-1875.
