[WWI] French trench publications
Small-size newspapers, published for the soldiers in the trenches. 16 items, of 11 different newspapers. All from 1915 and 1916. Inserted in custom-made half cloth folder.
More than 200 different trench newspapers were printed for the French soldiers. Humorous in nature, they were intended to support the soldiers. Newspapers included are: La Guerre Joviale; L'Écho du Boyau; Les Boyeaux du 95e; La Bourguignotte; Le Klaxon; L'Écho de Notre-Dames dea; Agnes aux Tranchées; Le Chat; Pelottant; Le Camouflet; L'Echo des Goubris; Marmita; Le Canard Poilu; Le Lapin Plumes.
