Poor copy with various internal defects, such as water stains, sizable repairs, loose or misbound plates, here and there old annotations in pen. Bindings stained and without ties, rebacked with vellum, endpapers second volume renewed. The first volume with at the end an unidentified heraldic wax seal of a previous owner. In this volume on p. 193 a plan printed in the text is covered with a view of the Sint Anthonis Poort, we were unable to trace whether this is the case in all first edition copies.
