Amsterdam etc., J. de Groot etc., 1793, (3) text p. followed by 20 handcoloured (large) folding engraved maps on folio size (14x with address of Isaac Tirion), contemporary gilt and ribbed half leather with morocco letterpiece, thin folio (36.5 x 14.5 cm.).

Inside very good, binding (incl. endpapers) with some traces of use and wear (e.g. rubbing on boards). Good copy, with on the title a lovely dedication "To Capt. R. Malcolm 27 Reg. (...)" by another military Captain (name difficult to read), dated 1 May 1795. A reissue of the much earlier, fine Tirion maps (2x dated 1747) with (parts of) the Dutch provinces.
