Spilman, 3 views by La Fargue and 1 view of Scheveningen, 19th-cent. unif. vellum w. (re-used?) mor. letterpieces.

Very fine, untrimmed set and a desirable copy because of the 27 extra views (all on leaves that match the bookblock in size, finely printed from the original plates around the time of the publication of the book). The 17th-century views by Roelant (w. assistance from Geertruyd) Roghman (1597-1696), were originally published in 1644. They comprise views of: Muiderberg (4x); Sloterdijk (2x); Sloterkerck; "Kerk tot Sloten"; Amstelveen; Ouderkerk; Spaarnwoude (2x) and Maarssen. The views by Spilman comprise Amersfoort, Hoeflaken, Leusden, Nigtevegt, Oostvoorn, Utrecht (2x), Kortenhoef, Noordwijk aan Zee and Warmond. The views by La Fargue comprise "Waatering" and Rijswijk (2x).
