Very scarce first edition [Vorwort Tulung-Agung, Januar 1894] of this groundbreaking work on human development and the first unambiguous registration of the missing link between Homo sapiens and an older, more primitive kind of human.
*The first Java Man fossils were discovered on the banks of the Solo River by Dutch anthropologist, Eugène Dubois in 1890 and are now kept in the collections of Naturalis at Leiden.
