2 etchings by Reinier Nooms (1623/1624-1664): (1) "De Swarte Beer een Groenlants Vaerder".

(2) "De Vrÿheÿt een Oorloogs Schip. De Hasewint eem Spaens Vaeder". Two etchings from the second volume of the series "Verscheijde schepen en gesichten van Amstelredam", 1652-1654, each 13 x 24.5 cm., respectively numbered 17 and 13 in print.

Both prints waterstained in the remarkably wide blank margins (paper watermarked "St.G" and fleur-de-lis). With on the mounts the reference to Dutuit 81 II(2) and Dutuit 77 II(3). Nooms produced 36 prints in this series, which appeared in 3 series of 12 prints each.
