Lot with ca. 95 items,
mostly consisting of demoralising, caricatural German pamphlets against the Allies in English, German and Dutch, but also including heartening German pamphlets for the German population/ soldiers and with several stencilled documents.
An interesting collection providing a striking image of the incredibly well-organised and both visually and verbally strong campaign by the Germans. This propaganda was filled to the brim by emotional and intellectual blackmail towards both the enemy and its own people. The stencilled documents include a number of issues of the Deutsches Nachrichtenbüro from 16 to 25 June 1940, lists of names of Dutchmen living in Germany and an 8-page A4 report of the "Deutsche Feier der Reichsarbeitsdienstes (...)", July 1936.
