Havana, 1958, 31 leaves on thick paper printed on both sides with a smooth front and non-smooth reverse, printed in many colours and with various (photographic) illustrations and portraits of singers and musicians, original gilt-lettered cloth in name of Sr. Carlos Riopedro on front board, oblong 4to (minimal defects).

Brilliant and extremely rare publication, no other copies traced, not even at the Library of Congress. Perhaps the leaves were also distributed individually. Protest publication, published in a year crucial to Cuban history: on 1 January 1959 Castro took over the power from Batista, shortly afterwards the ties with the United States were cut. "América contempló a Martí libertador como ejemplo superior en la tierra americana y en la bandera cubana este decit consignó: La caida de Martí en Dos Ríos fué esplendente al igual que el sol naciente como luz de libertad fue el apostól realidad para Cuba independiente."
