All plates with blindstamped initials PLC [Pieter le Comte] and RMWO [Militaire Willems Orde with ribbon]. Lithographs finished by Desguerrois et Cie. Printed by J.J. Nesser. The foreword signed by P. le Comte. First two plates with brown stains, at the end (water)stained, outside the print image. A few leaves at the end set with bookbinder's tape. Fair copy of this standard work concerning Dutch sailing ships.
