Front board and free endpaper loose, owner's name in pen on the title and owner's name dated 1772 in pen on inside front board; partly with worm hole in bottom margin. The fifth edition of the Brussels pharmacopoeia, but for a few minor differences identical to the third (1702) and the fourth (1739) editions; (2) Kweekschool der artzenykunde. Zynde verzamelingen en waarneemingen uit de beste en nieuwste schryvers getrokken. Ten dienste der geene, die zich in deeze weetenschappen willen oeffenen. Amsterdam, D. Incomplete copy, lacks pages 121-172, as well as the second part; here and there sloppily opened (partly unopened and entirely untrimmed). Rebacked using the old backstrip. The work is very rare, only two copies in PiCarta. And with (3-4) another two (rare) works, both in poor condition (total 4 titles sold w.a.f.).
