Complete with printed map index before the text part and ms. list on rear endpaper.
Maps with contemp. numbering in pen on spine: 1-6, 7/8 (one map) and 9-47, city charts 48-49 and flag chart 50. Besides the exceptional set of world maps with fine maps of the continents also the European countries, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea area and provincial maps of the Netherlands. (Water)staining throughout, mostly in the map part. Ticket with previous owner's name to endpaper. Spine with dam. First edition, in 1789 a new edition (title edition?) was published by Gravius in Amsterdam.
