Rebound in halfcloth using the original marbled boards and original title vignette on spine. Plates slightly browned, else fairly good copy of the first edition of this book.
*The first edition, first version contains the following characteristics: 1) errata on reverse of Directions to the binder; 2) 2 chapters III (p. 25 and 27) and an 'E' at the bottom of p. 27; 3) engravings only with page numbers, no title.
