Lot with three optica prints with biblical scenes. Georg Balthasar Probst (1732-1801). Et Dominus in terra inculta plantabat hortum, et hominem in illo posuit. Augsburg, c. 1750-1800. With biblical text in Latin, French, Italian and German below the image. Engraving and etching, handcoloured. 37.2 x 50.5 cm.
Some white staining, else good + Balthasar Probst. Attollens autem Ioseph oculos, vidit Benjamin fratrem suum uterinum, etc. (Genesis 43). Augsburg, c. 1750-1800. 31 x 43.5 cm. Image torn on the left and poorly restored, thumbed and in several places discoloured + La neuvieme Plaïe d’Egypte, Collection des Prospects, c. 1750-1800. Signed ‘B.F.’ Handcoloured etching, mirrored. 30 x 44 cm., text below title cut away, top restored but image in good condition.
