Haarlem, de erven Loosjes, 1857, 1862 and 1878, all 11 p. and with 35 illustrations with the alphabet, contemporary stapled wrapper (2x)/ modern cloth (minor defects such as owner's names and foxing, yet good copies).

The attractively illustrated AB-book by Haarlem teacher and principal Pieter Johannes Prinsen (1777-1854) was an extremely popular educational tool during the entire 19th century. The first edition appeared in 1821, the 19th edition in 1905. (total 3)
