According to the French caption, people laugh at the poor maid dropping a milk jar on the slippery ice. Framed with mount under acrylic glass. Frame 52 x 58 cm. (2) The skaters, etching/ engraving by L.P.F. Garreau after Isaak Jansz van Ostade and Jacques Swebach, c. 1800. Winter landscape with villages on skates, sleds and man with horse and sled carrying his beer barrels to the cafe on the right bank. Framed with mount under acrylic glass. Frame 53 x 62 cm.
