Bindings signed "Petit Succ & De Simier" on flyleaf vol. 1, both vols. dated 1862 on spine foot, all board very abundantly gilt with large diamond-shaped ornament inlaid with central oval of red leather, boards also with corner ornaments, ribbed and gilt back, profusely gilt borders on inside, marbled endpapers, top edges gilt; both copies with minimal dam.
