Album with ± 350 photos of Java, Hong Kong, Colombo, Sabang, Macao, Hawaii, California (incl. several photos of Universal City Hollywood), Havana and more. Also incl. several programmes, menus, telegrams, business cards, etc., nearly all collected during a world voyage in 1925-26 by Ernest Crone and Frida Crone-Van Vloten during a cruise on S.S. Belgenland of the Red Star Line.

Several pasted photos made by others such as a volcano eruption in Hawaii by K. Mahemara. The voyage started at Antwerp and via Cuba, Panama, U.S.A. (California), Hawaii, the Philippines and Indonesia ended at Japan. This collection contains on-board snapshots, but also special images of the various countries, incl. portraits of inhabitants. This is album I, the second album (see lot 1309) contains photos of Japan.
