Paris, Paris Art Editions, November 1923, (4) leaves (title, introduction and 2x "order form for photos" with perforation strip for removal), followed by 16 erotic plate with each one large central photo and 4 smaller photos in the corners (i.e. 80 illustrations), original wrapper, 19 x 15.5 cm.

Wrapper and contents tender, wrapper also partly browned and with small tears/ small pieces lacking. Contents in very good condition. The very rare first number of a series of monthly erotic albums each with 80 illustrations, date of issue is listed in the introduction. The photos could be ordered in sizes 4 x 7 inch or 6.3 x 8.6 inch, for respectively 2 and 3 shilling. The order form for the photos is still in the album, filled out in pen by one C. Mac Neill of London. Apparently, this person never managed to mail the order form. The second - uncompleted - order form is intended for monthly albums such as ours. Subscriptions were offered per album (at "3/6"), per quarter ("10/6"), per half year (1 pound) or per year (2 pounds).
