The portfolios of the drawings and the extra suites duststained/ thumbed and one portfolio also torn on spine. Highly extraordinary, entirely untrimmed copy with the following extras in 4 portfolios (for the three vols. and the drawings): (1) Seven original design drawings for woodcuts, of which 6 signed or monogrammed by Dufour and 1 monogrammed by Baudier, all 27 x 21 cm., in (browned) mounts (1x torn). Also the woodcuts in four different suites: (2a) In colour in the text; (2b) In colour as loose prints on Vieux Japon; (2c) In black on Vieux Japon; (2d) In black on Chinese paper, crossed out; (3) A suite of the vignettes in black on Chinese paper.
