Very good copy of this important catalogue with in pen the results and names of the buyers, also with bookplate and signature of Paul Joseph Sachs (1878-1965) on the first blank page. Sachs was director of the Fogg Art Museum and one of the partners of the Goldman Sachs financial services company. Sachs has also provided this catalogue with a dedication in pencil: "To Agnes Mongan". Mongan (1905-1996) was curator and director of the Harvard Art Museums. See for the splendid collection of Henry Oppenheimer (1859-1932): Lugt, Les marques de collections, 1351: "Ses feuilles se distinguent par leur superbe qualité ; ses dessins surtout forment un ensemble des plus précieux, certainement le plus important chez un particulier à Londres à l'heure actuelle. À la dispersion de la collection Heseltine, en 1912, cet amateur s'est assuré un grand nombre des plus belles feuilles, notamment de l'école italienne."
