Daniel Spoerri, Eat Art Gallery

Amazing lot of 17 exhibition posters for Eat Art Gallery. The gallery was run by Spoerri, located in the space above his restaurant in Dusseldorf. Eat Art Gallery presented food inspired art objects. The offset litho posters measure 30 x 42 cm, folded twice for mailing.

Posters for 1970 include: Spoerri (Dough sculptures), Lindner, Luginbuhl, Beuys and Arman (Marzipan multiples), John Giorno (Chocolate Bar Poem. 30 x 21 cm), Luginbuhl (Creamcheese: a small Emmenthaler Film). Posters for 1971 include several group shows with Fluxus friends and solo shows by Morellet and Rot among others. Also contains a rare copy of Lichtenstein's Brush Stroke. Printed on thin brown paper. Dog eared, yet very special. + Several printed envelopes addressed to Tjeerd Deelstra. (total 17)
