(title page and illustrated introduction by the artists), 64 colour-lithographic plates with mostly Jugendstil motifs, loose as issued in the original clothbacked thick paper chemise, this chemise then loose in the original cardboard portfolio with cloth hinges and button, 17 x 21.5 cm.
Without the plain square folding mirror (12.5 x 12.5 cm.), for which the portfolio contains a dedicated compartment and the use of which in combination with the plates ("Spiegelvariationen") is explained in the introduction. This mirror is easily replacable. Else in complete condition. Portfolio sl. soiled/ discoloured. Very rare regardless of condition (no copies in PiCarta), extremely rare in the near-complete condition as offered here. With interesting remark on the reverse of the title of the text book: "Die Einführung der deutschen Ausgabe nach Frankreich, Italien, Belgien und französische Schweiz ist verboten und wird strafrechtlich vervolgt."
