Plan of Grave by Joan Blaeu. 1649. Handcoloured with city and provincial coat of arms and ships on the Meuse river + Gravia Obsessa et expugnata with the map from 1622, also issued by Joan Blaeu. Both leaves from the Stedenboek, Amsterdam, 1649 and both uniformly framed in mount under glass. Maps resp. 42 x 52 and 38 x 53 cm, frame resp. 66 x 76 cm and 63 x 78 cm. Combined with: Crevecoeur, copper engraving from: Theatro del Belgio by Gualdo Priorato, 1673, with the Crevecoeur fortification on the Meuse river near Den Bosch. Framed in mount under glass. Map 31 x 41 cm, frame 50 x 59 cm.
