Two drawing albums: (1) Album with 16 watercolours and 9 pencil drawings,
Netherlands, c. 1860, with various Dutch topographical subjects, partly with location in pencil, gilt-lettered halfleather, 12 x 19 cm.
A few leaves tender/ loose, binding with wear. With in pencil at the end the names "Francois Bouffa [sic] Kalverstr." and "Bourette Lourierstraat 107 Amsterdam". Skillful watercolours, with the following locations: (1) "A Amsterdam - du Tolhuis"; (2) "Sandpoort"; (3) "Amstel"; (4) "Vue dans (?) Amsterdam"; (5) "La Zaan"; (6) "Polders"; (7) "Entree du Burg à Leyde" (followed by a drawing of the interior of the Burcht van Leiden); (8) "Watermael"; (9) "Terbosch". And with 1 other similar album of the same size with 29 small drawn views in black chalk, mostly Europe but also incl. "Inde" and the pyramids of Egypt, halfleather, all edges gilt. (total 2)
