Advertising on the building reads Melkinrichting Aurora, 3e Oosterparkstraat and Banketbakkerij G. van Bolhuis, Beukenplein. Although this particular advertising has since disappeared, the current advertising on the building (restored in 2013) does refer to the Vleeschhouwerij.
