Waterstained at beginning and end; the fragile wrapper loose, discoloured, torn and damaged. Rare first edition of this interesting collection of poems, reprinted countless times, by Victor Segalen (1878-1919), French author, doctor, archeologist, ethnographer, China insider and opium user.
