Algol-60 and mostly by Dr. E.W. Dijkstra from the 1961-71 period.
Dijkstra was the founder of computer sciences in the Netherlands. He worked among other things as a programmer and developer of various programming languages (incl. Algol-60). At an earlier stage he had been involved with the programming of ARRA, ARMAG and others. From 1984 Dijkstra was a professor at the University of Texas at Austin. The Shortest Path First algorithm was named after him (Dijkstra's algorithm). His "Notes on Structured Programming", T.H. Eindhoven, 1970 met with global recognition. (total 11)
