Library stamp to title page, p. 296 and the final page (Bibliothèque des FF. De St. Vincent de Paul Vaugirard); engraved bookplate to flyleaf; old in memoriam card to pastedown facing an inscription in pen dated 1618. The finely decorated binding with defects. Very rare, relatively early edition of the collected works of Seuse, the first thus as edited by Laurentius Surius (1523-1578). Henry Suso (Latin: Henricus Suso, 1295-1366), famous German mystic and the only student of Meister Eckhart known by name.
