all of glazed stoneware finely decorated in relief, probably Cologne, 16th century, height 15 to 21 cm.
(1) Beautiful tigerware jug with impressive, wavy beard, inscription "Des heren wart bleift in ewicke", portrait medallions and acanthus leaves. Expertly pasted/ restored, virtually invisible on the outside; (2) Largest jug of grey glazed stoneware, decorated with large bearded face, a central frieze of acanthus leaves, rosettes and portrait medallions. Pasted/ restored, lacks small piece from edge; (3) Smallest jug (tigerware) decorated similarly to the others, central frieze with imitation text.
